Identifying Root Cause of Performance Issues for SVC

This real world case study, run on an IBM Flash 840, is similar to noisy neighbors in a real world neighborhood in which a few bad neighbors can disrupt the harmony of the entire neighborhood. In this case, just a few bad LUNs had a profound effect on the I/O experience of the SVC environment.

In this short video we want to show how some extremely busy volumes created problems for an entire SVC/Spectrum Virtualize cluster, and how we were able to identify the volumes easily by using IntelliMagic Vision.
